The Good and Bad Sides of Addiction

Are you addicted to something and try as you may, you simply can't bring yourself to give it up? Are you addicted to certain foods that sabotage you every attempt at losing weight?

When someone makes your heart beat faster or a favorite past time makes you feel high, it can be tremendously difficult to resist,

Why you continue engaging into something when we already know that this addiction of all sorts and seeking pleasure and physical satisfaction can be destructive for you?

In my daily bread, it emphasized that human committed sins because of their Lust of the eyes, lust of the stomach and lust of the body.

Why eyes? Because when you see something and your like it, you have the urge to get something in a good or bad way.

Why stomach? People can't live without foods to eat. He/she needs to do something to feed his/her hungry stomach. He may either work, steal or ask it from someone else just to work. Kuya told me the reason why people are working to eat and eat and die. When you work for appliances or for any luxury things you can't bring it when you die. He preferred to die because he eats too much than dying because of eating nothing but air.

Lust of a body is a reason why we heard the news of rape, premarital sex, and teen pregnancy, Almost boys are addicted to it, some girls too. Unfortunately, this addiction is hard to cure and hard to let go. Lots of people can't live without it..????? Or they are just addicted to it. Again I want to emphasize this words again " Why you continue engaging into something when we already know that this addiction of all sorts and seeking pleasure and physical satisfaction can be destructive for you?

Addiction has a good advantage too in serving God. You are very addictive to serve God, to do his will and follow his commandment. Addiction to the one you love is nice addiction to, addiction helps both the partner to be loyal to each other. They are afraid to let someone they love to go....
